Sheila Madhani, MA, MPH
With over 20 years of experience, I provide consulting services to medical specialty societies and other provider-based organizations on a wide range of regulatory issues including reimbursement, coding, and healthcare delivery transformation. Throughout my career I have had the privilege of working with physician and other healthcare provider organizations. These experiences have ingrained in me a deep respect and understanding of the role and contributions of the healthcare workforce.
Specific areas of proven experience include the CPT Editorial Panel process including code application development and submission; RVS Update Committee (RUC) survey process; Medicare physician fee schedule analysis, Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)/MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs) program implementation; Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation payment model development; current role and future implementation of telehealth; and various policies related to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
This practical experience is grounded in an academic background in health policy, public health, and social work; and a genuine passion and commitment to the field, healthcare providers, and the patients they serve.
